The concept is easy! Selfmade motivates, selfmade is everything.
As already said in the introduction, i took the idea of the whole project from dreams I had. I was amazed how detailed my thoughts could show me, what future house I wish for. So I started building the house, some parts were more challenging than others, but in the end I learned a lot.
In the building process, I had to drop some ideas,
due to time limitations. What I haven't mentioned there is, that originally
I planned to create a whole landscape that could be seen from the pool.
But I recognized that this would be a project on it's own, so I took my
favourite landscape picture - from a landscape so beautiful I could spend
a lifetime there.
Another part of the concept was to create the architecture as realistic as possible, so the "south" is in negative z-direction, the west in negative x-direction and - of course - the proportions correspond to the real world. One unit in the virtual environment corresponds to one meter in the real world.
If the architecture is supposed to be "so realistic" one could ask oneself, why I took the perspective camera - well - because I wanted the viewer to feel like he is there!
