Fragments of Tomorrow

Robots' attempt to piece together a future from the shattered fragments of the past.

Inspiration

Drawing inspiration from the desolate yet hopeful world of Wall-E and the chaotic, layered density of Kowloon Walled City (once in Hong Kong), we present Fragments of Tomorrow. Set in a dystopian future, this scene depicts a group of resilient working robots reconstructing their shattered city, piece by piece. Amidst the crumbling ruins and neon-lit shadows, their efforts spark a fragile glimmer of hope—a testament to perseverance in the face of decay. The image captures the haunting beauty of a world on the brink of collapse, yet stubbornly reaching for renewal.

Implemented Features

We have implemented many additional features such as alpha masking, normal mapping, rough dielectric BSDF, a thinlens camera model, image denoising and area lights. We consider these features enhance our Cyberpunk theme.
