Feature list of MemorySynthesizer renderer

Welcome to our renderer! We will first show you what features we have implemented.

Feature 1: Thin Lens Camera

The first feature we implemented is the Thin Lens Camera, which simulates real-world camera optics. Unlike a pinhole camera, the thin lens camera introduces depth of field, creating a blur effect for objects that are out of focus. This adds a layer of realism to our scene, making it feel more like a photograph taken with an actual camera.

Rendering Competition Entry for CG WS24/25

Now, after you have seen all the features, obviously we should merge them together in one scene and see what comes out of it.

This is the entry for our WS24/25 CG Rendering Competition. Theme this semester was “Chaos in Harmony”.

We envisioned a scene where we could use PBR and highlight its amazingness~~! and also have some artistic fantasy to it.

We opted to go with a Cyberpunk-ish city, where everything is orderly, working, lit up, sun is setting. Just another normal day.
